The Global Fund For Jesus fully understands its niche in the field of community development.
As such, we are guided by a particular set of values that define our perspective to the world:
Jesus is at the heart of the GFFJ. He is the true Founder, and the massive vision of GFFJ would be impossible to achieve without engaging Him. It is for this reason that prayer is our engine. In all GFFJ activities, Ambassadors are encouraged to pray and fellowship together regularly to keep the light shining.
Poverty is a collective problem, it affects not one part of the body, but the whole. We stand in partnership with Jesus, the poor, as well as marginalised people to support them in achieving their aspirations; challenging unfair systems and structures which are the root cause of poverty in this world. Solidarity is justice.
Oppression is outrageous. We believe that efforts to eradicate it can be effective if there is adequate direction. We adopt a spirit of servitude, commitment, boldness and conviction in order to mobilise resources. This is achieved through donations and investments which will help to achieve lasting change.
The Fund considers integrity key in achieving change in the lives of our people. We therefore advocate for only what we believe. We have embraced a culture of accountability and transparency which results in effective use of our resources as God’s stewards.
The Global Fund for Jesus has embraced the Results Based Approach (RBA) in our programming to ensure the increased responsiveness of our programs and projects. We have improved our designing, targeting and delivery for this purpose. This enables us to be relevant at all times.
We believe that every person has an inherent right to justice and dignity; thus we ensure fairness and equity in everything that we do. Love, fairness, humility, respect, sustainability and justice – these are the values that inform our work.
