The 4th Annual GFFJ Gala dinner was held at Gallagher Estate, Midrand, South Africa. Various nations were represented amongst the 1000 delegates who attended the event. As usual guests were impressively dressed to mark the splendid occasion.

The event opened with the music from the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra conducted by Maestro Richard Cock. The music was a beautiful welcome to guests, who included keynote speaker H.E Joaquim Alberto Chissano, former President of Mozambique; Chief Justice of South Africa Mogoeng Mogoeng; Dr Sam Motsuenyane, founding father/ former President of the National African Federated Chamber of Commerce (NAFCOC); Hon Mr Gervais Koffi Djondo, founder and honorary life chairman of Ecobank group (ETI); Dr Nevers Mumba former vice president of Zambia; and Hon Mr Gideon Dlamini, Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry from the Kingdom of  Swaziland. 

Chairman of the Global Board of Governors Mr Sipho Mseleku announced that the GFFJ’s Resource Mobilisation kicked off. It began with the cash mobilisation phase, which was launched at the GBR prayer camp at Alpine Heath Lodge in January. He added that the GFFJ uses the infrastructure of GBR to conduct its business and that laying the structure of GFFJ is a 10 year process, and members can use this as a window of opportunity to establish themselves and grow in their professional, personal and entrepreneurial capacities.¬†
